自制BIOS开关按钮

我们超频的时候总想超到最高的频率,但有时候由于主板不支持你设定的频率,或更糟糕的是它不能主动回到初始(缺省)状态,你就要面临:拔出所有的电缆,打开机箱,找到清除COMS的跳线,按主板说明,正确插好跳线,再拨出来,盖上机箱,连接好所有的电缆。是不是很烦?   看到你的机箱面板上的“Reset”(重新启动)按钮吗?当我们不能用热启动的方式来重新启动停止响应的电脑时,我们可以按一下它,使电脑重新启动。这给了我们启发,让我们一起来做个BIOS开关按钮吧。当超频后的电脑不能正常启动时,我们只需要按下它,就可以清除BIOS内容。

  材料及工具

  材料:如图1。一个AT机箱上的“Turbo”开关(含连线)、一个小的中空式的触发开关(必须是“单刀双掷”结构的)、一块扩充插槽的挡板。   工具:切线器和剥线器、笔式电焊枪、焊料和松香、钻孔机和1/4英寸的钻头、袖珍可调扳手。没有上述工具的朋友,可以采用其他类似工具代替。

  制作过程

  1.制作连线

  如果你找不到“Turbo”开关及连线,你可以用旧AT机箱上的“机箱喇叭”连线。它是4针的接头,不过只有两根连线,另外接上一根连线就成了。

  2.焊接连线

  先在扩充插槽的挡板上用钻孔机钻一个1/4英寸(或其他尺寸的,只要能安装开关即可)的孔。然后剥去连线末端上的绝缘材料约1/8寸长,以用来焊接。随后,用电焊枪加热连线的末端,并敷上小量的焊料。在开关的接线端,重复以上操作。最后,将连线的末端和开关的接线端放在一起,焊接起来。   焊接好后的实物如图2所示。

  3.接好连线

  现在,我们打开机箱,找到清除CMOS的3针跳线组。注意,不同主板设置有所不同,请查看相关主板的说明书。   将我们做好的连线连接到跳线上。在连线的时候,要注意各针的位置,不过,连线错了也没有关系,再试一下就可以啦。   在我的主板上,我是按照图3这样安装的。图中最左边的是第一针,连接的是蓝色的线。当第一针和第二针短接时,是正常状态;而第二针和第三针短接时,清除CMOS的内容,回到初始状态。当我们拨动装在扩充插槽的挡板上的开关时,作用就相当于短接“第一针和第二针”或是“第二针和第三针”。具体哪个方向的拨动是“正常”或“清除”状态,你在测试之后,可以在挡板上标示出来,以方便以后的使用。   当开关处于中间时,会出现什么情况?那就开不了机啦。这可是个好功能呀,当你不在的时候,可以用它来防止别人使用自己的电脑,是不是有点别具一格?
