随着新年的到来,新版本的主板BIOS也陆续发布了!对于使用AMIBIOS的用户而言,由于刷新工具的限制,在黑底白字的屏幕中,痛苦地输入一大串刷新BIOS的DOS命令便成了唯一的选择。至于AWARD的刷新工具,因为早已推出了For Windows的版本,功能和方便性明显比AMI的DOS方式要好。难道只有AWARD的刷新工具才有For Windows的版本?答案是否定的!WinSFI就是这样一款AMI For Windows的刷新工具。废话少说,下面就让我们来实际看看吧!

  使用方法

  WinSFI是一个32位的Windows应用程序(http://ncepu.e963.net/usr/52bios/soft/upload/200212261042180.rar),最新版本为1.4,它支持的操作系统有Windows95/98/Me/2000/XP等。   使用方法很简单,全程由鼠标控制,十分方便。首先,运行WinSFI程序,点击“File→Load BIOS & Flash”,选择要刷新的BIOS文件,然后你就可以选择“Yes”或“Cancel”进行是否刷新的决定了!刷新完毕后重启电脑,待熟悉的画面出现后就表示刷新成功了。最后要做的事就是进入BIOS中进行设置了!   怎么样?是不是比在DOS下操作舒服多了呢?

  失败后的处理

  如果不幸升级失败,只要Boot Block还没有被破坏掉,可以使用ISA显卡和软驱来修复BIOS。考虑到较新的主板上已经取消了ISA插槽,笔者就说说只用软驱的修复方法。首先准备一张空白软盘,然后把BIOS文件(如:E021209S.ROM)拷到软盘中,并把文件改成AMIBOOT.ROM,插入软盘,重新启动你的电脑并按住Ctrl+Home来强迫刷新,系统就开始读取软盘的AMIBOOT.ROM进行刷新。当你听到四声“哔”声,就可以取出软盘重启电脑了。

  注意事项

  1.此工具只针对AMI的BIOS,请不要在AWARD的BIOS上刷新,以免出现意外;   2.虽然是在Windows下刷新,但建议在刷新前不要使用其他的任何程序。
